When cleaning and turning over between guests, every minute counts, especially if you are hosting new guests the same night after a morning check out. Here are some of our favorite products that save us a few minutes here and there every turn.
- Duvet covers with zippers, not buttons or snaps
- Quick drying sheets, towels, and blankets
- Bonus tip: these are the exact flat sheets, fitted sheets, and pillow cases we have been using for years. We dress the bed, then leave an extra set (just in case guests staying longer than a week would like to be able to put new sheets on themselves without having to do a load of laundry). Then, since these come in packs of 6, we always have a couple of clean sets available for quicker turnovers.
- Dark gray wash cloths (not white!)
- Bonus tip: we found that black coloring fades over a short period of time and they start to look old.
- Double-hook shower curtain “rings”
- Bonus tip: don’t waste money on the clear plastic shower curtain liners. Buy two fabric liners so there will always be a back up clean one on hand for quick swaps when dirty (make sure they have metal grommets and not just embroidered holes!)
