5 Amazon Finds Under $50 That Guests (and You!) Will Love; I Use All of These in My Airbnb or Home

As an Airbnb host and someone who takes pride in creating a welcoming, functional space, both for Airbnb guests and my friends and family, I’ve come to realize that small details matter more than we think. Sure, everyone loves a beautiful kitchen or a comfy bed, but what really earns those glowing 5-star reviews (and makes your own home feel like a retreat) are the thoughtful, everyday items that just make life easier.

Over the years, I’ve experimented with countless gadgets and home goods. Some overhyped, some not worth the price. But today I want to share five of my absolute favorite Amazon products, all under $50, that I personally use in my Airbnb and in my own home. These items have made such a difference for me and my guests that I’ve gone back to buy duplicates, and they all check the boxes of useful, affordable, sleek, and guest-loved.

1. 3-in-1 Charging Station for Apple Devices

Mag-Safe Charger Stand Fast Charging for iPhone / AirPods / iWatch

Price: Usually around $35–45

Let me start with this one because I am genuinely obsessed. I originally bought this 3-in-1 wireless charging stand for my Airbnb, thinking it would be a nice touch for Apple users who forget their cords or just want a convenient bedside charger. But after seeing how clean and organized it looked, I bought two more for myself and my husband.

It’s compatible with MagSafe iPhones (12–16 series), AirPods, and Apple Watch, and charges all three devices at once using just one plug. It also saves outlets and eliminates cord clutter, which is a huge win for both aesthetics and functionality. No more scavenger hunt for outlets or packing three different cords for a weekend away.

In your Airbnb, this is one of those unexpected “wow” amenities. It feels luxurious, but it’s super affordable. And if you’re like me, you’ll probably end up getting one for every bedroom in the house.

Bonus tip: I keep one on each nightstand in the bedroom of our Airbnb.

2. Krosno Glasses, Set of 6

Infinity Collection, Lead-Free Lightweight Glass

Price: Around $30

You know those products that look expensive, feel high-quality, and somehow match every decor style? These glasses are it.

I came across the Infinity water glasses while searching for stemless wine glasses, but these ended up being way more versatile than I imagined. They’re perfect for everything: morning juice, iced tea, sparkling water, or yes, wine. They’re dishwasher safe, sturdy without being bulky, and just have this beautiful European craftsmanship that makes them feel elevated.

I keep a full set in my Airbnb kitchen and always include a couple in my own home rotation. Guests appreciate that they’re lightweight but don’t feel cheap. Make sure you have at least one glass per guest that your Airbnb sleeps, and a few extras for those times when one goes missing.

And they work with any design vibe, from beachy-coastal to modern-minimalist.

Pro tip: If you’re styling your listing for photos, pour a sparkling drink or set a breakfast tray with one of these next to a stack of folded napkins and a carafe of orange juice. It creates an instant feeling of hospitality and luxury.

3. The Travel Book

A Complete Guide to Every Country in the World

Price: Around $20–30 depending on the edition

Okay, this is one of my favorite decor-meets-function pieces in the whole house. I discovered this book a couple of years ago and originally bought it as a coffee table book for staging a listing. But as soon as I flipped through the pages, I knew it would be perfect for my Airbnb.

This hefty book includes gorgeous photography, travel tips, and cultural insights about every country in the world. It’s fascinating, inspiring, and a total conversation starter. I leave it open on the living room coffee table in my Airbnb, and guests frequently mention it in reviews or notes.

It fits beautifully into almost any decor style and gives off that well-traveled, intentional vibe. Plus, it’s a great way to entertain solo travelers or guests waiting for their partner to get ready. I’ve caught more than one friend flipping through it while staying at my home too!

Hosting tip: Pair this book with a small plant or candle on a wooden tray, and suddenly you’ve styled a $30 table that feels like $300.

4. SwitchLight & GuideLight 2 (Night Lights)

Auto On/Off LED Lights — No Batteries or Wires Needed

Price: 2-pack sets around $28–$35

I can’t tell you how many times guests have mentioned how clever these are, or how relieved they were not to stumble around in an unfamiliar house at night.

I have SwitchLights installed in the bathroom and in the hallway of my Airbnb, and GuideLight 2 outlet covers near the stairs and in the kitchen. Not only do they add safety without taking up plug space, but they also look much sleeker than the clunky plug-in night lights we have traditionally used.

They’re super easy to install, and do check with an electrician first! My husband is a licensed handyman, and these were no trouble for him to install. The built-in LED automatically turns on when it’s dark and turns off during the day.

They’re especially helpful if you have stairs (like I do), a hallway bathroom, or guests traveling with kids. It’s one of those small upgrades that quietly makes your space safer and smarter.

Bonus tip: These make excellent gifts for new homeowners, too. I’ve bought them as housewarming gifts more than once.

5. Brita Large Water Filter Pitcher (10-Cup Capacity)

Bright White, BPA-Free with One Filter Included

Price: Around $35–40

Offering filtered water to guests is one of those small but impactful touches that shows you care, and it’s more sustainable than buying bottled water. I keep a Brita 10-cup pitcher in the fridge at my Airbnb, and it gets used constantly.

This model has a sleek and clean, bright white design that blends in nicely with modern kitchens, and the filter lasts for about 2 months. The pitcher is big enough for a group but still fits easily on most fridge shelves.

We also have one in our own home, and I use it constantly between my morning coffee, re-filling my water bottle, and of course, re-filling the doggie water bowls. It’s simple, practical, and eco-friendly. All wins in my book!

Hosting tip: I still also leave a couple of bottles of water in the refrigerator, just to cover all the bases of a guest’s preference.

Final Thoughts

As a host, and honestly just someone who enjoys a peaceful, well-functioning home, these five products have become absolute essentials in my spaces. They’re not flashy or expensive, but each one solves a real problem or adds a layer of comfort and convenience that makes a guest’s stay smoother (and makes my life easier, too).

If you’re setting up your first short-term rental, upgrading your space, or even just want to treat your own home like the relaxing retreat it should be, I can’t recommend these enough. And the best part? Each one is under $50: proof that you don’t have to spend a fortune to deliver 5-star experiences.
